Training Tues 27th, Thurs 29th & sat 31st August

With the 1st race of the Hatfield 5km series on Wednesday there should be several members going out for easy runs with strides tomorrow and recovery runs on Thursday but knowing that not everyone will be able to race we will be putting on sessions.

Tuesday's training for blue and green group is a fartlek of 7 x 3 mins with 90s easier running between each effort with a 10 min warm up and cool down. Purple group session is a ladder of 2 x 5/4/3/2 mins with 60s recovery between each effort.

On Thursday blue and green group have a 25 min tempo run and purples a fartlek of 7 x 3mins with 2 mins easier running between each effort.

On Saturday I had suggested a hill session of 10 x 1min on the old XC course meeting in the car park at Manor Wood at 9am. Please sign up below if you are coming.

Tuesday - Fartlek -10 x 2 mins (2 min easier running between each effort) Spirella to Standalone to Grange ......

Thursday -6 x 0.5 mile Bridge to Bridge on Norton Common
