Please post your Name and Time on this thread.
24.53 for me on the Grange mile loop at 7am. Only had to social distance twice so nice and quiet. Very pleased with my time although needed more restraint in the first 2km:) Thanks Brian for all your work with the results, lovely to run in my NHRR vest.
Decided to do a road 5k up and down Icknield Way.
Thanks Brian. Nice to still feel ‘a part of’!
Purwell lane to wymondley bit of greenway. Along greenway but turn around before hill up to Willian arboretum and back to purwell lane.
19:48 on the watch by the way!!
24.24 for me this morning on my Henlow/Clifton 5k loop.
Lovely sunny 5k along some of the Greenway! Time 29.06
Thanks Brian 😊👍
30:24 - Paula Holm - a run walk on the fields nearby making up the distance on the streets! Thank you for organising!
I was out at 7am for a run up to, and around, Ickleford Common. I wanted to keep it off-road in the spirit of FSOM, but had undertestimated quite how lumpy and tussocky most of it is! That's my excuse for a woefully slow time, but I was also enjoying the birdsong and the greening of the environment as spring takes over. Personnel count was 3 dog walkers, 1 walker and 1 other runner - all greeted me cheerily (at a safe distance) apart from the runner. I'd stopped for him on a narrow path and moved right out of his way - I pointedly said 'you're welcome' as he passed me without even a word or a glance .....
Distance: 3.1 miles
29.11 on a winding route round Baldock.
James Keogh 20:58
Clare Hooley 39:54
Done as 11 laps round local playing fields - missed the ‘gritty ‘ nature of the FSotM’s hills but still appropriately uneven underfoot.
https://www.strava.com/activities/3252351792 (not public though).
23:48 warm up with daughter doing Couch 2 5K, then cheated with downhill first section, then struggled to find flat ground, used paddling pool. Simon, minimal Zombies sighting.
1 mile warm up followed by Croft Lane, Cashio Lane, Norton Rd loops.
I ran my 5K this morning from Stotfold-Arlesey (Circuit Route) @ 29.20
21:12 on a country road outside Kettering.
Charlie Arnold 21:56
Couple of 2k+ laps on public footpaths by Oldfield Farm between Henlow base and Arlesey at 7.45 this morning. Hilly and rough ground but great to be out in some fresh, clean air on a beautiful morning.
29mins 45 Secs for me.
I did a virtual run around Central Park on the treadmill.
Hi Brian! 24:16 for me Andrew Robson. Complete lack of recent running showed me up on the last km! Roadie run through Letchworth: Spring Road, Broadway, Letchworth Lane, Aubreys, Willian Way, Meadow Way, Once round the gardens and finished with one Broadway 400m rep past St Francis. Lots of friendly runners and cyclists out this morning enjoying the gorgeous weather.
34:40 longabout, greenway, manor farm. A few runners, dog walkers, cyclists but not too busy at 9:00, everyone friendly :slightly_smiling_face: made me get up so thanks for organising!
Here are the results from the Cooks...
Lindsay and James (only 3.09 miles, oops) 35: 45
Gary and Hannah (and Matthew on a bike) 27:28
17:22 but I cheated by finishing down past Harkness Roses 🤔
Lovely sunny 5K from Broadway Gardens down to Willian and back.....33:36
Thanks Brian! Mostly middle of the road running around Letchworth Garden City. Blossom is blooming!
Tash Pitman 21:23

Apologies I have been corrected it should be my moving time ! So I think I'll crawl under a stone and forget I ever did it today 😫
16:10 for me around the trusted clothall common loop.
Nick Malpeli: 19:02 by Strava (though my watch stopped at 18:59, honest). A not very inspiring set of 500m out and backs in the Hitchin Industrial estate - the main benefit being it was certainly socially isolated!
Tom Webb - 15:45 for me this morning.
23:45 on a loop around Baldock
Time 36.20. Age 65
26:57 5k around Gosmore and St. Ippolyts.
19:33 on the FSOM route of
Emma Clark - Two laps of Westmill estate in Hitchin in 27:40
Julie Tribe - 3.32 miles in 29.26 minutes. Along St. Michaels to Oakfields Estate, through the alleys to Highbury Road, down St. Johns road, down Hitchin Hill, along Queen St, along Walworth Road, under the railway bridge, past the college and home. Not the most scenic but deserted so better.:relaxed:
Richard Weber, 26 mins 12 secs. Not my best but a tricky route with lots of people, road crossings and gates. From Fairfield Park to Arlesey, back to Fairfield and a loop around estate back home.

29:46 (A slow one to make others feel better) :)
Putting up a result for someone else:
Gareth Bates (Freedom Tri) 19:48
Philip Flack 27mins 48secs for 5k
Ran a loop from Lordship to the Greenway at Willian along to Letchworth gate and Howard Drive.
Starting at 11:15 is too late as loads of people about. Next time I'll be out much earlier!
I missed Mark ringing his bells!!!
Thank you Brian.
Worked out my own 5k course https://www.strava.com/activities/3252846551, about half on the Greenway, which has the huge advantage of starting and ending at the back gate, which means more of a lie-in! A couple of hills making the climb more or less the same as the parkrun course, but with less mud and more horses.
Delayed start to 10.30, by which time it was getting suprisingly warm. Two other runners, several cyclists and walkers, and a couple of dogs.
Probably my best time on this course in about 6 attempts - only probably because the GPS seems to be erratic down by the A1 perhaps because I go through a tunnel, and today I had to add a few yards to tick over to 5k (the usual finish was 37:41).
Thank you for organising.
3.12 in 29:38 nice sunny out and back with a lap of fsotm route, legs are shot I’m blaming PE with Joe!
Well done all 👏🏻🌈
27:26 for 5k
Chose a bumpy off-road run out of Aston and along the Beane valley. Even managed to start at 09:00 and no need for social distancing.
21.47 for me. It was on the road as the tracks were so busy this morning. From holwell turn to Holwell, pirton and managed to finish with a short burst down hill from the water tower in pirton.
Thanks for doing this 😊
28:30 pushing the girls in the running buggy along the Blunham track. We went early to avoid the crowds. There were few people about, we are always very careful.

Thanks for organising.
25 minutes on the nose. Round St Ippolyts & Gosmore. Bit more undulating than Norton Common. Delighted with the time, first time in ages I’ve run without my bonkers dog.
Couple of loops around Sollershot, Hitchin Road, South View, Broadway.
Ali Mottram 32:37

I ran the FSOM course this afternoon. Great to be running round the common in warm weather.

Duncan Godfrey 27:00 dead. Field edges around Hitchin and St Ippolyts

23.25 for local Park Run in Isle of Man. Ran it in reverse direction so a nuR kraP!! Always enjoy your FOTM event when I'm over visiting. Look forward to seeing you all again when normal service is resumed. Stay well, stay safe.
Hey Squirrels! I did 12k so just picked the best times from each km and added it up. Probably not how you’re supposed to do it, but unprecedented times call for unprecedented timing methods 🤣 At least I didn’t give myself a PB, right? Oh, hold on - this probably is a PB at FSOTM, considering I only normally get the chance to do Santa Canta. Oops! 34:29 for me please. Hope you’re all safe and well 🧡
Oh, and I forgot to say, I obviously ran around the Letchworth parkrun course.
30.08 around Henlow and Clifton for us this morning. Boring compared to the common! Still a lovely day to be outside.
Thanks for organising.
26:18 Greg Bowie
Great idea all - thank you!

Please add any Times/comments on the Results thread.
Sorry - we missed putting our times up yesterday.
However we each did do a measured 5k race around part of the Greenway.
Our times were:
Rob Wallis : 23.56
Diane Wallis: 31.02
Mark Tinkler: 31.02
We look forward to running round the common later in the year, hopefully with all of the other runners together.
Thanks NHRR for organising this virtual race😊
From Penn Way under the longabout through Jackmans going past the outdoor gym and entrance to Garden City Academy through the little wooded area to Webb Close then follow Greenway to Willian
