Run of the Month Update - November

The run of the month for November is a form of Everesting...

Mainly the cyclists have been doing the Everesting during lockdown, although it existed before hand. A few runners have been doing it too! :astonished:

The concept of Everesting is fiendishly simple: Pick any hill, anywhere in the world and complete repeats of it in a single activity until you climb 8,848m – the equivalent height of Mt Everest.

Ratter than climb the hight of Everest, the run of the month will have the same theme, but have 4 levels of less elevation. You can complete any one of the levels to fit in with your current training.

You have the whole of November to take part. You get extra kudos for completing more than one level. If you can, why not try all 4?

The levels are;

:mountain: Sharding, 310m. Climb the hight of The Shard.

:office: Gherking, 180m. Climb the hight of The Gherkin.

:ferris_wheel: Eyeing, 135m. Climb the hight of The London Eye.

:bridge_at_night: Towering, 65m. Climb the hight of Tower Bridge.

You can use Strava or Garmin or komoot route planners to measure your hill and plan out how many reps you need to complete the challenge. You can also add 'total ascent' to your watch screens to track this during the activity.

Any questions, then please ask. Its something a bit different.
